CRPF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
To fill out the recruitment form, candidates are required to have passed at least Class 10 from a recognized board.
However, additional qualifications are also required for certain specific posts.
For the post of Driver:
- 10th-grade pass is required.
- Possession of a Heavy Transport Vehicle driving license is mandatory.
For the post of Motor Mechanic (Vehicle):

Selection Process for CRPF Tradesman Posts
The selection process for CRPF Tradesman posts involves multiple stages. Candidates must successfully clear each stage.
1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Male candidates must complete a 5-kilometer run within 24 minutes.
Female candidates must successfully complete a 1.6-kilometer run within 8 minutes and 30 seconds.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
The minimum height requirement is 170 cm for men and 157 cm for women.
For male candidates, a chest measurement of 80 cm (unexpanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm is required.
3. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The written examination will be conducted online.
